Guerrilla Wave Studios was not born in a boardroom. It was born in survival.
Our founders, Ariel Peña, Isiah Anonuevo, and Ruben Tejada grew up in environments where instability was normal and opportunity was rare. Homelessness. Crime. Drugs. Violence. Systems that failed families and communities long before we ever had a chance to succeed.
We did not inherit advantages. We inherited pressure.
Each of us learned early what it meant to adapt, to hustle ethically, and to dream while surrounded by limits. We watched people we loved fall into cycles they could not escape. We experienced moments where tomorrow was uncertain and safety was not guaranteed.
What saved us was belief. Belief in growth. Belief in learning. Belief that technology, education, and creativity could become tools of freedom instead of barriers.
